What are your personal fitness goals?

As an athlete with a heart condition, my biggest goal is to compete against the girl in the mirror and better that person- mentally and physically. I want to prove to the doctors and to myself that my heart problem won’t stand between me and the sport I love.

How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?

I want to inspire women and show them that if their mindset is correct, nothing can hold them back from reaching their goals. I am starting a company that will have a NGO sector specifically for raising funds to help educate and feed single mothers. The company is being launched in December.

What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?

It is either the pain of discipline or disappointment. You choose.

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle

I do boxing in the mornings for strength as well as stress relief. Running because I like being slowly tortured apparently and finally weight training at my gym

Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?

I would love to have this opportunity as I don’t know many athletes with heart problems and I want to show those who are too scared of following their fitness dreams that with care and advice from doctors and a strong mindset they can achieve anything. Being a model, I would love to be on the cover of a magazine as I am sure all girls do when involved in the beauty/fitness industry, what can I say- I am only human.
