I have two beautiful babies, aged 2 and 3. I am a full-time mommy, part-time photographer. I am a fun, loving and dedicated person. I enjoy being social, just as much as I love being active. I’m always up for a challenge and exploring new ways to keep fit while having fun. Adventure is my middle name!

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?

I believe that if you look good, you feel good. I love being active and teaching my kids to live a healthy lifestyle. I find different ways to keep fit, like boxing, hiking and cycling and try to incorporate that into my daily life. I am currently boxing twice a week, while weight training 2-3 days a week. When I’m unable to train, I take my kids for walks, run around with them in the garden, or end up using one of them as a weight to do some squats at home. Training is more than just physical to me, it’s a form of self love, therapy and power.

What are your personal fitness goals?

I’ve worked hard to get back into shape after my pregnancies to prove that you can have the body you want after having children. I used to compete between 2014-2016, then I had my two babies a year apart. I have since decided to get back into the lifestyle that I love, while still being able to balance a family life. I’ve already lost 25 kilos since having my last baby and I am on the road to stepping on stage again after 5 years. I will be competing in the IFBB KZN Provincials in September 2021 to prove that mommies can do this too!
