What are your fitness goals?
For as long as I live, I want to remain a huge inspiration to all my clients, patients, friends, colleagues and family. I see myself as a great ambassador of fitness and healthy living, so I want people to always look at my lifestyle and fitness and be motivated by and empowered through it. I want to stay a relatable woman with enormous ambition and passion to be fit and health conscious. I’ve been very active from a young age and have loved many sports and activities. I would love to continue following a variety of activities for as long as I can! A definite bonus would be to go overseas for Latin American dancing, which is a huge passion of mine. Also, hereditary cholesterol is a big part of our family history, so I also aim to eat healthily and exercise.
Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?
I have grown my biokinetics practice from 2 people to over 200 active monthly clients. I have been mentally prepared to be a strong and sincere woman for 10 years, through many personal difficulties. I have an overwhelming desire to help people, especially women who struggle with a poor self image because I know how that feels. I have worked through the roots of poor self image and I can honestly say that I am a psychologically and mentally healthy woman today. I believe that to be a role model in the fitness industry requires more than just a beautiful body. I’m that lady that women can associate with and want to walk the road with to reach their dreams and aspirations. I also perform regular health and motivational talks at schools, churches, ladies mornings and other events. I also organise transformation challenges for my clients. I want the “average person” out there to also work hard to better themselves and show off their hard work in public. That gives me endless satisfaction! I would take up the responsibility of the role with the utmost respect and care, knowing that I have the opportunity to change even more people’s lives. This platform is what my heart has yearned for, for years.
