I’m a stay-at-home mom to 3 beautiful children. I love keeping a positive mind because I believe your positivity always outshines any negativity around you and it might just make someone smile. I would choose a good chicken salad over a pizza but I don’t deprive myself of any cravings. I have a scar on my abdomen. I was rushed back into theatre 11 days after I gave birth to my twins via C-section after developing septicemia. Without it, I wouldn’t be here today and I embrace it. I would rather give to those around me, be the supportive one and always give a hug when it’s needed.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?

I try to exercise at least 3-4 times a week. I want to be the role model that shows my children that balance is healthy, exercise is fun and reaching goals in life is possible. I do not go to the gym. I choose to exercise at home, writing out my own workout plans and fitting them in between naps and school runs. I share my workout plans with friends and family who ask for guidance. Fitness is my passion. One more set, one more rep, one extra kilometre. Set new goals every day and add a little extra to that goal. Believe me, it will make you smile when you know you pushed a little harder. I make time to exercise because it’s one of the things that makes me happy.

What are your personal fitness goals?

For me, fitness is a passion. It’s me pushing myself harder knowing that to achieve what I want, I need to stay motivated. Motivation starts within you as a person based on your mindset and your positivity. I want to be the person who motivates others. I want to show people that exercising is fun and that you can live a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet. I have started making short videos on YouTube and would like to grow my channel into something bigger and better. If I can be the person with the personality that encourages you to exercise, I will feel like I have achieved my goal. I know I am strong, I know I can push but I can always better my fitness goals one step at a time. Motivate your mind first and your body will follow.
