What are your fitness goals?

My goal is to balance my rather intense training and eating regimen with being able to take care of my family, run my business and enjoy my hobbies and other activities. I aim to expand my business by introducing healthy lifestyle and exercising into my clients’ life and teach them to making better choices every day regarding healthy eating and physical activity. I would like to be a leading example to others, showing them that a fitness-focused lifestyle can be fun and sustainable. I want to share my knowledge and experience with others, and encourage them to improve their lifestyle habits. I also have certain goals as a fitness competitor, namely consistent, sustained performance in my Wellness category on the national and, hopefully, international stage.

What fitness achievements should we know about?

Having moved into the Wellness Fitness category recently, my achievements include:

IFBB Champions Arise – 2nd place

IFBB Millennium Goldplate – 1st place

IFBB Gauteng Central Provincials – 2nd place

Why do you think you’re the next USN Face of Fitness?

I’m passionate about the fitness lifestyle. I’ve proven that by dreaming big and incorporating small but consistent changes into your lifestyle, you can achieve amazing results. I’ve lived the fitness lifestyle for over ten years. I’ve competed in different shows, regained my body after pregnancy, returned to the competitive stage, and do what I truly love. I would love to be seen as not just a “fit body” but also as someone who is willing to share knowledge and experience and encourage others to think about their health and well being. I aim to be a living example of the motto: “Long-term consistency beats short-term intensity”. When I moved to SA and got my hands on a copy of Fitness magazine, I saw the beautiful contestants, which gave me a purpose. It inspired me to follow my dream and make the career change. I studied training and nutrition and am now a fitness professional. I view this competition as an opportunity to give back and let my story inspire others. It would be a great privilege for me to represent and promote the brand that was such an inspiration for me in my early fitness days.
