What are your personal fitness goals?

My ultimate goal is to become a fitness influencer through promoting healthy nutrition and training habits so that I am able to reach and inspire a broader community to join this health and fitness lifestyle to ultimately enjoy all the benefits associated with it.

How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?

I am goal-driven. My lifestyle choice is fitness. My vision aligns with Biogen’s values. I am continuously on a new fitness assignment seeking to improve myself. My passion for fitness inspires me to be persistent and to stay focused to reach my goals. I will inspire, motivate and showcase methods to create a fit and healthy lifestyle through my experience. I will educate the broader public on proper nutritional guidelines to maintain proper weight control, strength, endurance and muscle tone. I will also share how I manage to develop my plan to maintain a balanced lifestyle and ways to stay committed and dedicated.

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle

I am a certified indoor cycle instructor. No matter how busy I am, I make sure to allocate 5-6 training sessions of 1 to 2 hours in a week, which include cardio, HIIT sessions, spinning and swimming. I take supplements to support and boost my immune system, and I mind my diet because nutrition is an important element in my training.

Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?

I am a fairly well educated, affluent, confident, resilient and self-driven young woman with some of the most unbelievable fitness accomplishments in South Africa. While I was never an elite or professional athlete growing up, I have remained one of the most committed fitness fanatics right throughout my life. I will lead by example as the mother, a career woman, family and social butterfly that I am. I will be able to educate and coach women of all ages and demographics on how to create healthier habits, be fit and to be able to find the balance in their lives.
