Tell us more about yourself
What are your personal fitness goals?
My fitness goals are to gain muscle, abs and a toned body.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I would be more active on social media showcasing Biogen and their products, making women aware of what they could use to reach their fitness goals. I want to give people like me hope that they can be anything they want despite skin conditions and despite how their bodies are. A lot of people are in the fitness industry and being the ambassador would make me stand out and also increase my credibility and trust.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
“To get to the finish line, you have to start.”
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I work out 5 times a week and I’m on a muscle gain diet. Before lockdown I would go to the gym before work and go to soccer training after work. Work itself consists of training for me when I train the kids. So all day everyday I am an active person. I love yoga and aerobics. I am a fruit lover.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I believe I should be the Biogen Face of fitness because of what I represent. I represent women with skin conditions such as pimples, discolouration, eczema, freckles etc. We often don’t take part in modeling because we feel imperfect and less beautiful. We don’t feel comfortable in our own skin. I also represent women who have issues with their bodies and are not confident. I grew up being teased for being skinny which led me to being overweight when I started high school. Not realising it was affecting my health because I wanted to look like someone else. I got back to my body and got my confidence back. I want to be that face for other people that they should love themselves. I love health and fitness and it has become a part of my daily life as a career and hobby.
