What are your fitness goals?

I started my fitness journey in September 2010, and I have never looked back. I weighed over 85kg’s and was only 19years old. Now I am 28 years old and weigh 60kg’s. I fell in love with fitness the first day I stepped into a gym facility.

My fitness goals are to continue being consistent with my fitness & health journey. To continue to learn and expand my knowledge on how to become better each day, not only on my physical appearance but my fitness levels and my understanding of how food plays such a large and vital role in our fitness lifestyles.

My dream in terms of my long term fitness vision is to be a Yoga Instructor. And to bring fitness (yoga and aerobics) into my community, to teach them that being healthy and fit is for everyone and not limited to gender, race and finances.

I also want to compete in Bodybuilding shows such as IFBB one day. In the Fitness Bikini Category.

Any sporting / fitness achievements we should know about?

  • I competed in local Natural Bodybuilding shows in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
  • In 2014 I competed in the Bikini Category for the first time and was chosen to be part of the Natural Bodybuilding Western Province team.
  • In 2016 I entered a different category with the same federation. I competed in the Ladies Physic Category as my body was becoming leaner. And I came in 2nd Place.

Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?

I know I am the USN Face of Fitness 2019 because I have and continue to surrender to my fitness and health journey consistently. I am utterly in love and amazed by what the body can do, and I never limit or box myself when it comes to my training.

I practice what I preach on my social platforms. And what I preach is CONSISTENCY. I am consistent in improving my physic, my knowledge when it comes to health, training on days when I don’t feel like it, not making excuses and in making time for what I love instead of always making time an excuse.
