What are your fitness goals?

I recently returned to South Africa after spending 16 years abroad. I now live in Port Elizabeth where I am a Personal Fitness Trainer. I am passionate about maintaining a regular fitness regimen, coupled with wholesome nutrition, for an energetic and healthy lifestyle. I want to grow my business as a fitness professional by inspiring others. I want to focus on working with women, helping them to liberate and re-invent themselves through fitness, as I did after struggling with fluctuating weight for many years.

I also enjoy competing in bodybuilding and fitness shows. My aim is to continue sculpting my physique for greater success in this sport. Another goal is to undertake further studies in nutrition to complement what I already have to offer. And with the backing of a respected brand like USN, I will be able to make an even bigger impact!

Any sporting / fitness achievements we should know about?

In April 2018 I competed in the Bikini Division with the Naturally Fit Federation (NFF) in Texas, USA. I won all my line-ups and became Bikini Overall champion, and earned NFF Pro status. In June 2018 I competed with PCA in Port Elizabeth, where I earned the Overall Bikini title. In August 2018, I competed in the PCA Provincial qualifier, winning the Trained Bikini line-up, and earned a place on the PCA Eastern Cape team. I subsequently competed in the PCA SA Championships.

Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?

At the age of 44 I am already inspiring many women, young and old, through my own fitness journey. Countless women are stuck in a rut, overworked, stressed, and depressed. Some are feeling under-appreciated with low self-esteem. I am showing them that age is just a number, and that as long as you have your health, it is never too late to turn your life around by liberating yourself through fitness and healthy nutrition. Therefore, I believe I will be a great ambassador for USN, since my personal story of a great comeback, and my infectious passion for a 24/7 fit and energetic lifestyle, will inspire and motivate many others.
